Reed enjoys Tennessee trip

Monroe (Ga.) Area safety Junior Reed is still waiting for his first offer to come in, but if the recent interest he's seeing from coaches is any indication, it could be coming quickly.
Reed recently attended Tennessee's junior day and received very good feedback from Vols' defensive back coach Willie Martinez.

"I liked the way they have everything set up over there," Reed said of Tennessee. "I had a chance to spend time with Coach Martinez and some of the players and they want me to come up again this weekend."
In addition to the attention from Tennessee, Reed has been hearing from Mississippi State and Minnesota. He recently registered with the NCAA clearinghouse and said he expects offers to come now that his academics are in order.
"Minnesota told me they have my film and they like it," Reed said. "They want me to try to get up there we just have to set up a visit."
With interest from the Golden Gophers the question of distance comes in to play for Reed. However, he said he's not worried about going to school away fro home.
"My decision won't be based on location," he said. "As long as I get to go to a school and get a chance to do what I love, play football, that's what it's all about"
