Redman makes a decision

Keyser, W.V. linebacker Taige Redman made a decision recently. The 6-foot-0, 201-pounder elected to commit to Ohio over an offer from Marshall.
"I made my commitment to Ohio about two weeks ago," he stated. "I like their academic program, especially for social work. That caught my attention.

"Plus, the coaching staff is top-notch and the overall atmosphere in Athens is what I'm used to. It's like my hometown. They are close knit people, really friendly."
Did anything stick out about the program?
"To be honest, I think they are on the rise," he said. "They are definitely turning things around and their job security is pretty good I think."
As for playing time, Redman could play next year.
"They want me as a Sam type linebacker," he said. "My freshman year I'll probably start on special teams. I'm not sure if they'll rotate me in on defense."
