Redfield still not rushing decision

Max Redfield recently landed new offers from Tennessee and Boise State and the four-star safety from Mission Viejo, Calif., said both programs will be considered as he methodically moves through the recruiting process.
"I'm definitely considering both," Redfield said.
"I'm giving them a decent look and a decent chance. Tennessee is an SEC school and I can play against the best competition so I'll look at them. Boise State is a great program and they've been winning the last few years and they have great coaches, too."
Boise State and Tennessee are the latest offers for Redfield, who also has Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, Washington and Washington State on his list.
Redfield, rated as the second-best safety and No. 30 prospect in the early 2013 rankings by Rivals.com, said he wants to take some unofficial visits in the coming months and then he could be ready to narrow down his list.
Many believe USC has a really good shot at landing Redfield but he said all programs are still being considered and he doesn't plan to make any commitments for a while.
The four-star recently told Rivals.com that USC, Notre Dame and Oregon hold a slight edge in his recruitment.
"I don't think I'm going to narrow it down anytime soon," Redfield said.
"I'll probably narrow it down closer to the summer when I get out and visit more colleges unofficially. I don't think I'll make any decisions until then."
The only safety rated higher than Redfield in the 2013 recruiting class is five-star Su'a Cravens from Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta.
