Redding taking things slow

For Decatur (Ga.) Columbia junior receiver Keithon Redding, this is only the early stages of the recruiting process.
He has no leader. No top five. No top 10.

Right now, the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder is simply taking it all in.
Six schools have offered and several more are showing interest, but when asked when he might trim his list of potential schools, Redding replied, "maybe after the spring, I'm not sure."
Thus far, Arkansas State, Central Florida, Kent State, Mississippi, Penn State and UCLA have offered.
"The Penn State offer surprised me," said Redding, who competed at last Saturday's Rivals/VTO Elite 100 Camp in Marietta, Ga. "It really did."
According to Redding, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Middle Tennessee also are showing interest. Already, Redding has visited Auburn, Georgia and Georgia Tech.
Those three programs and Middle Tennessee are expected to check Redding out in practice this spring.
Redding has one future visit planned but does not know where he will go after that.
"I'll be at the Auburn spring game this Saturday," Redding said. "I think they might be close to offering. They're [recruiting] my running back [Kenno Loyal] and they're evaluating me. I feel pretty good."
