Redding has date in mind for IU official

Indiana remains the lone offer for Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville three-star running back Devine Redding, and he is looking to schedule his official visit to Bloomington for later this fall.
"I am going to try to catch the Illinois game in November for an official visit," Redding said. "I should talk with them and set it up this week. Since it is close, I am going to go to O-State and watch them play too."

Redding said he has kept in constant contact with the entire Indiana coaching staff and is feeling the love from the Hoosiers. They have an edge on other schools because of that relationship and the fact that they are his only offer.
"They are real high, but I have been getting calls from Michigan State and Purdue," Redding said. "Purdue is up there and them and Indiana are real close."
The schools that have not offered yet are waiting to see Redding play his senior season, but his start has been held up by this past winter's transfer from Mineral Ridge.
"They wanted to see these games, but the state didn't clear me to play. That was a big let down," Redding said. "I think I should be back this week."
The 5-foot-9, 203-pound Redding did rush for 1,100 yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior.
