Redd ready for SEC trips

Tennessee defensive end Vince Redd is one of the top rush ends in the nation and is preparing for the stretch run in the recruiting process. He's taken two trips and is gearing up for three visits to SEC country.
Redd is a 6-foot-7, 240-pound defensive end from Elizabethton, Tenn. He is ranked as the No. 12 defensive end in the nation by Rivals100.com and has great upside. He knows the next month will be very important when it comes to his future.

"It's coming down to the end," said Redd. "These trips coming up will be huge for me and will probably be the biggest thing on my mind when I make my decision."
Redd will take trips to Arkansas (Jan. 10), South Carolina (Jan. 17), and Tennessee (Jan. 31) before Signing Day. He has already visited Virginia and Virginia Tech and enjoyed both visits.
"I liked UVA and Tech," said Redd, who has a great combination of size and speed. "They left a good impression on me. Fans from the SEC are crazy and I should have a good time. I'll be busy so I'm going to have to stay calm and make a decision after my trips."
