Red hot Utes land prized in-state WR

When you’re hot, you’re hot. According to his high school coach, it looks like Utah has landed one of the West’s best receivers and one of the fastest rising prospects in the nation.
The Utes have landed a commitment form Draper (Utah) Juan Diego Catholic three-star receiver Marquis Wilson. The 5-foot-11, 158-pound receiver committed to Utah on Sunday, picking the Utes over Arizona, BYU, Nebraska and Utah State along with heavy interest from Cal, Boise State and Notre Dame.
“He’ll be the perfect fit for the offense,” Juan Diego coach Kelly Davis said.
“He has the speed and athletic ability that they want in a receiver and a player, and he’ll fit right in. The offense fits him perfectly.”
