Red hot Cats land standout Texan

The Arizona Wildcats continue their impressive recruiting efforts and land another player who has good upsides in cornerback/kick returner Wilrey Fontenot (5-11, 170, 4.4) from Humble, Texas.
Look for Fontenot to make an instant impact returning kicks for the Wildcats. He has is very special on special teams. Fontenot averaged 48.7 yards per kick return on 14 returns while returning three for touchdowns. Needless to say the kicks that came Fontenot’s way became less and less.

When Fontenot is not returning kickoffs for huge gains he is a solid cornerback prospect who could be rock-hard corner for the Wildcats in the future.
Fontenot chose the Wildcats over Arkansas and SMU. He canceled trips to both schools.
The Wildcats also landed a sleeper wide receiver in Anthony Johnson (6-2, 185, 4.5) from San Diego (Calif.) Horizon.
Johnson played quarterback as a junior and the first two games of his senior season before he switched to wide receiver and finished with over 30 catches and 15 touchdowns.
Scoring on almost 50% of his catches, now that is what Rivals calls production. Johnson chose the Wildcats over San Diego State and Utah.
