Recruitment a blur for four-star QB

Recruitment has been a blur for William Crest. The past few weeks have been filled with so many offers the quarterback from Baltimore (Md.) Dunbar can't even remember all of them.
"I have more offers but I can't name them all off the top of my head but everything's been going well," said the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Crest. "Signing day just passed so things have been a little slow but I've talked to West Virginia,North Carolina and Vanderbilt. I'm just keeping in contact and letting them know I'm still interested."

The offers from Vanderbilt and North Carolina are new and Crest shared his thoughts on both.
"I'm not sure when I got the Vanderbilt offer," he said. "My coach had told me and I can't remember the exact date. They took a lot of big strides as a program last year. They look like they will have big upcoming season and could make a lot of moves. I think it's a good program. They have a good head coach in James Franklin. I've talked to him a little bit.
"North Carolina offered me two weeks ago," Crest said. "I know they run a fast-paced, spread offense. They are trying to find players that fit that scheme. They told me I would be a good fit for that program. I'm still keeping my options open and listening to what they and the other schools have to say."
The biggest offer Crest has at this point is from the Ohio State Buckeyes.
"Right now, I haven't had any contact with the coaches at Ohio State," he said. "I've called and left messages because I wanted to show that I am still interested in them."
Crest is still developing his offseason plans.
"This spring I'm thinking about taking a trip to Vanderbilt and North Carolina," said Crest. "I'm not sure if that's going to happen yet but I do plan on making some visits this spring. I'll probably go to Maryland at some point."
Crest is unsure if he will go to camps this offseason.
