Recruitings slows for four-star WR

Recruiting has slowed up a bit for Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers wide receiver Marcus Sales. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder is in the process of working on official visits as the season quickly approaches.
"I'm kind of taking a break," he said. "There haven't been anymore offers, but I am starting to talk to Boston College a bit. They are just waiting for me to send my highlight tape. They are the only one I know about, but I know my coach is talking to a lot of other schools."

At this time, the four-star prospect holds offers from Louisville, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, UNC, Virginia and Miami.
Does anyone lead?
"Not really, I'm open to everybody," he stated. "I'm looking for somewhere that has coaches that make me feel comfortable. I want a good education as well."
As for visits, it's not surprising that Sales plans to attend most of Syracuse's home games.
"I also might go to watch them practice soon too," he said. "For officials, I don't know where yet. I plan to take all five, three during the season and two after."
The No. 2 prospect in New York is also getting ready for the upcoming season.
"Our first game is on August 31st," he said. "Right now I'm focusing on the season and trying to get better every week. I think we look good. We've got a lot of young players and everybody knows they have to step up. I know I have to step up too particularly with my leadership skills and carry the team."
