Things continue to stay about the same for Pearland, Texas defensive end Cyril Obiozor.
“It really has been about the same for quite a while,” the 6-foot-4, 236-pound Obiozor said. “Not a lot has been happening other than the calls from schools. Nobody new has been calling or anything.”
The schools near the top of Obiozor’s list are Oklahoma State, UCLA, Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Wisconsin and Kansas State.
“I still like Oklahoma State and UCLA the most,” he said. “But, I’m not set on anything yet.”
Obiozor has not lined up any official visits yet.
“I’m going to wait until our season is over before I can go on any visits,” he said. “I don’t’ have any open weekends before then. So, it will just have to wait. I’m planning on making all of my visits before making a decision.”
Five of the top six schools have offered the three-star rated defensive end so far.
“I’ve got offers from all of my top schools, except for Kansas State. They have talked about the possibility of one coming, but so far, there hasn’t been an offer.”
