Nick Wilson has a top three but so many programs are showing interest in the 2014 running back from Fresno (Calif.) Central East that things could get switched up.
Arizona, Boise State and Notre Dame are the early favorites for Wilson, who had an outstanding junior season and he's planning a trip to the Pac-12 school in early February for junior day.
Wilson has already visited Boise State this fall and he's met with Notre Dame assistant coach Mike Denbrock at school as well.
"I plan on taking a visit to Arizona in February for their junior day," Wilson said. "I'll meet all their coaches and their recruiting coordinators and I'm really excited to get out there. I can't wait.
"I took a visit up to Boise in October. I took a visit there and I loved the whole coaching staff. I met some of the players and the campus is amazing. The stadium atmosphere was amazing and it was a really good experience.
"Coach Denbrock came out to talk to me and Michiah Quick a few weeks back and he was talking about Notre Dame, how people come from all around the nation, what a Notre Dame degree can get you and that was interesting."
A lot of interest continues to come in.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound four-star prospect said Cal, Oregon State, Washington, Arizona State, Florida State and Washington State are constantly sending mail. Vanderbilt has recently reached out and Wilson said Michigan is getting in the mix, too.
Since his junior season just wrapped up, Wilson said he's thrilled with how things are going and he's looking forward to a big off-season.
"Everything is pretty good," Wilson said. "Recruiting-wise, everything is going great. I've talked to a few coaches, I've had finals this week so I wasn't able to call coaches, but I've been talking to a few of them.
"I just really can't wait to take my visits and finally make my decision."
