Recruiting starts up for WR Kenney

Cox Mill in Concord, N.C. is only in it is second year of existence. The program is receiving interest due to a breakout wide receiver in 6-foot-3, 190-pound wide receiver Parker Kenney.
"He had a pretty good year," Kenney's father Paul said. "They passed the ball only about five times a game, but he averaged around 40-yards a catch and probably had about 500-yards."

Kenney was key in guiding Cox Mill to 7-4 and their first ever playoff berth.
On the recruiting front, Kenney is just starting to get some looks.
"We went up to Virginia in November and they got him on the radar," he said. "Richmond has made some contact as has Wofford, Furman and NC State has sent a letter."
According to his father, Parker is high on the Cavaliers.
"Virginia is probably No. 1 on his list," he said. "His personal trainer Andrew Pearman went there and my sister graduated from there.
"They are a good nice school and they have a new coach (London), he's a really good guy."
To date, Kenney hasn't visited anywhere else.
