Recruiting slows for CB Harrington

Cornerback Sherrard Harrington out of Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson continues to sit on four scholarships. The 6-foot-1, 168-pound corner is taking the process slow as he continues to wait out more offers.
"I haven't visited any schools at all," he said. "I haven't even thought about it. I'm just taking my time; I still have the offers from Tulsa, Duke, Marshall and Ohio. BYU has a verbal out that was basically an offer if I commit on the spot, they'll honor it."

While Harrington claims he has no plans for visits in the near future, he is awaiting word from a couple more schools.
"Wake Forest and Kansas are supposed to be close," he said. "I've been talking to Coach Lambert at Wake Forest. He's high on me and he said the cornerback coach loves me a lot. I'm not sure when they're going to pull the trigger, but it seems like it's a matter of time.
"It's the same thing with Kansas. They just got my highlight tape and loved it. They are going to get back in the office this week."
Harrington claims at the moment he is just waiting patiently to take official visits this fall.
