Recruiting rises, visits coming for RB Milton

Recruiting is picking up for Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy running back Derrick Milton. The 5-foot-11, 191-pounder is starting to pick up more interest and is talking visits.

"North Carolina is liking me a lot right now," he said. "I am also thinking about visits. I am planning to visit North Carolina, Mississippi State, LSU and maybe Memphis."

Does Milton have any trips planned?

"I know Mississippi State's visit is in December, but the others I'm not sure about yet," he said. "I like all those schools because of what they bring to the table as football programs and also the environment they are in is great football. With Mississippi State and North Carolina I'll have a chance for playing time as a freshman."

Currently offers are still up in the air for Milton as teams are waiting patiently.

"They all say they will be offering soon," he said. "They all want to see where I stand with my grades and see what I made on the ACT."
