Recruiting rises for 2013 OT Pfaff

Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian 2013 offensive tackle Braxton Pfaff has taken a couple visits to date. The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder is beginning to pick up more interest from schools across the East Coast.
"Yeah, colleges are aware of me," he said. "I'm getting a lot of interest from Virginia and then daily letters from Boston College and Duke.

"I took an unofficial to Duke three weeks ago or so. I'm also getting letters from Temple and Liberty."
Duke wasn't the only visit for Pfaff this season as he made it to Virginia too.
"I went to Virginia and Duke," he said. "I really liked Virginia. It was a good atmosphere there and they played Georgia Tech when they were ranked in the top ten. The fans and coaches are awesome.
"I can see the potential at Duke, but I'm not really sure. I like the campus, it's awesome and they have really great coaches too. I think they have a lot of potential."
Does Pfaff like anybody?
"I'm a pretty big Virginia Tech fan and I like Virginia, I like the in-state schools," he said. "They are in-state, but I've been to a couple Tech games in past years and it's crazy there. The fans are crazy.
"I have a connection with Virginia as my quarterback Mike Rocco is the quarterback there now. I like watching them play and Coach London is a really awesome coach."
As he looks at more interest, Pfaff contemplated what he wanted in a college.
"I definitely would like a college that gives me a chance after my a career. I want somewhere I can get a good degree and have a good life. Obviously I want a chance at winning and good coaches are definitely a big thing for me."
Pfaff earned first team all-conference for Liberty Christian Academy this season as he helped them to a state championship victory.
"I felt like I had a really good year, better than I expected," he said. "I came in with high expectations and thought I played a lot better than I was going to."
