Recruiting process over for Wells

Rumors that Akron (Ohio) Garfield running back and Buckeye commitment Chris Wells might make an unofficial visit to Michigan to see the Ohio State-Michigan game were just that, rumors. But Wells did watch the game on television.
"I watched it," Wells said. "It was wild. It was crazy. At first Ohio State dominated. Then they just went with the flow. Then the 88 yard drive was the best I've ever seen in college football. I was real happy for Ohio State. I called coach Bollman after the game to congratulate him."

Wells made an official visit to USC earlier this month.
"Michigan is still recruiting me," Wells said. "But I told everyone I'm going to Ohio State. I don't know yet when my official visit will be."
Wells will graduate in January and take part in Ohio State's spring practice.
"Antonio Pittman is a great back," Wells said. "I'm just going to come in and work as hard as possible."
The 6-foot-1 and 227-pound Wells rushed for 2134 yards and 28 touchdowns during his senior season. Wells finished his high school career with over 5700 yards rushing.
Wells is the No. 2 running back prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 1 prospect in the state of Ohio.
