Recruiting picks up for WR Moore

Hampton, Va. wide receiver Daquin Moore is a junior to watch. Interest is picking up for the 6-foot-3, 182-pounder from schools across the country after a solid junior season.
"I'm not sure what's going on with recruiting," he said. "I'm getting a lot more letters and stuff has come in.

"Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, Alabama, Nebraska and Connecticut are mailing me. They are all not really saying anything for real, they are just telling me about their games and their improvement as a team this season."
Moore took just one visit this season to see Notre Dame face Maryland.
"It was good," he said. "It was up in Washington, D.C., so I couldn't really talk to them, but they were the home team and I went as a recruit."
On the year, Moore played well both ways.
"I improved a lot this season with my routes and seeing the field," he said. "My vision was where it needed to be, I was seeing holes I need to. I played both ways at wide receiver and safety."
As interest continues to grow, what sticks out about him at this stage?
"I'd say it's my size," he said. "I think that stands out more. I can shield people off my body and I can take a hit as well. I can give one too."
