Recruiting picks up for OT Citko

Recruiting is picking up for Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood Catholic offensive tackle Adam Citko. The 6-foot-5, 292-pounder doesn't hold an offer yet, but has visited a number of schools.
"I've already been to Rutgers, Connecticut and Notre Dame," he said. "I was impressed by all of them. I like the coaches there and the schools are really good academically.

"I plan to take one more visit this weekend to Pittsburgh on the 24th."
Citko also mentioned possible Nike Camps in Baltimore and Penn State later this spring.
Plenty of other colleges are showing interest as well.
"Miami, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, NC State, Wake Forest, Duke, Tennessee, Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan State, Indiana, Penn State and Pittsburgh are all in contact," he said. "I've always been a fan of Notre Dame and if they offered I'd have to talk about it with my family."
What is Citko looking for in a school?
"The first thing I'm looking for is academics," he stated. "I do want to study business and I'd also like to stay close to home. I want a quality program too."
Citko was a star for Archbishop Wood Catholic last season earning all-Catholic, all-city and all-area honors as he helped his team to a 9-3 record.
"I think my best ability is to run block and drive kids into the ground. I feel I have good feet," he said. "I know I could improve on my footwork. It is good, but it could be better."
