Wilkinson claims a few schools stick out early.
"I was born in Philadelphia, so I like Temple," he stated. "I've been to West Virginia and it's pretty cool. I haven't been to Virginia Tech, but I've heard from some friends, Jack Willenbrock and Drew Harris that Virginia Tech is pretty good too. I plan on visiting a couple of them sometime."
To date the only schools Wilkinson has visited has been West Virginia and Temple.
What are schools saying?
"They're just telling me that they are really interested in me and are coming by to get my transcripts."
Meanwhile, Wilkinson is looking for a few things as his recruitment rises.
"I'm not sure what I want to major in yet, but I want the right school for me," he said. "I know I only want to go so far south as Virginia Tech and as far north as Syracuse. I've kind of set those points."
As a junior, Wilkinson earned all-league honors as a junior.
"I feel that I did pretty well," he said. "My aggressiveness really showed. I mainly dominated the line in most of the games. I feel I had a pretty good year, but I want to work on my footwork still."
