Recruiting picks up for Faircloth

Chesapeake (Va.) Grassfield safety James Faircloth is beginning to garner college interest. The 6-foot-0, 195-pounder is getting looks after an impressive junior season.
"I did pretty good this past year," he said. "I had 38 tackles, three interceptions and one forced fumble along with a touchdown. I earned first team all-district and second team all-region honors.

"I've been starting at Grassfield since my freshman year. I think my experience is my greatest attribute."
Who's taking a look so far?
"I'm getting interest from Richmond, NC State and North Carolina," he said. "Louisville and William & Mary both invited me to junior days.
"So far I've visited Richmond. I'm not sure on Louisville as it's on the 27th."
Faircloth likes a couple schools already early in the process.
"I kind of like North Carolina," he said. "I've kind of liked them for a long time and I've been there for camps.
"I love Richmond too. I like the campus a lot."
With recruiting picking up, Faircloth broke down what he wants in a college.
"I'm looking for a place I can get a good education and I feel at home," he stated. "I want the coaches to make me a better person."
