Recruiting just about to heat up for DE Moody

Philadelphia (Pa.) George Washington 2013 defensive end Justin Moody still claims one scholarship at this time. Interest is picking up for the 6-foot-3, 264-pounder though as he is just coming out of a combine from out West.
"I just finished the Marine Bowl combine in Phoenix," he said. "I did 40 times, one-on-ones and drills. I'm learning a lot."

Moody is coming off a big junior season that saw him post 20 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and five forced fumbles including three recovered while earning all-city, all-metro and all-state honors.
"I did well," he said. "I was one of the leaders of the team this season, making sure everybody was doing their job, doing the right thing. I was making the transition between defensive tackle and defensive end. My coaches kept switching me during the season."
The big year hasn't seen offers flow quite yet.
"Rutgers is the one now, but hopefully I'll get more soon," he stated. "Penn State, Florida State, Michigan, Michigan State, Auburn, Alabama, Connecticut, Vanderbilt, Temple, Boston College and Maryland have been in touch.
"Some of them came by the school and said they are going to recruit me hard this year. Some wrote me a letter and said the same."
Does Moody like anybody?
"Not really right now," he said. "I only took two visits so far. I went to Temple for a game and I just came back from Rutgers for a junior day in December.
"It was great. It was awesome up there. They really impressed me my first visit and this time was even more impressive. They cared, they showed that they care about their academics and coaches."
Moody mentioned plans to take more visits perhaps as soon as later this month, but he has no clue where he'll be going at this time.
