Recruiting is rising for Fox

Despite missing a bit of time with a foot injury this year, Fairfield (Conn.) Fairfield College Prep 2014 defensive tackle Tony Fox had a solid year. The 6-foot-2, 243-pounder is beginning to see his recruiting interest pick up because of it.
"I only played in nine games, cause I missed a week with an ankle sprain," he said. "I averaged about eight tackles a game and had three sacks. I played defensive end in a 3-4."

So, what sticks out about Fox?
"I'd say it's my high motor, my intensity on the field and I'm a leader on the field," he said. "I may not be the show off player, but I'll blow up a play."
Fox is seeing interest from Boston College, Yale, Georgia Tech, Connecticut, Fordham, Albany and Georgetown so far.
"They are all pretty interested in me, but mostly it's just a lot of mail."
Fox claims a couple schools catch his eye early.
"I like Fordham because I could see myself there in New York. It's nice and busy," he said. "I like Georgia Tech too. They are in the city and my dad lives in Atlanta.
"I want to be in a bigger city, but I also want to pursue a major in engineering. Some schools I've talked to say that may not be realistic especially if I want to go Division I."
