Recruiting is picking up for Hague

Richmond (Va.) Benedictine School defensive tackle Austin Hague is seeing his interest rise. Major schools across the region are taking a serious look at the 6-foot-4, 255-pounder.
"Coach Beamer and Coach Reid have come by and said they really like his frame, he's got the perfect frame," Hague's father, Rich said. "He played at 215-pounds last year and was playing defensive tackle. Now, he's 255 or 260-pounds and we're trying to lean him up to 245 or so for camps with his speed coach.

"His feet are really good and they love his frame as an offensive lineman. They all just want to see him at camp. With what we're being told it sounds like he could get one or two offers at camp."
According to Hague's father, Virginia has been interested for a while, but Virginia Tech has moved in recently.
Meanwhile, Boston College, Duke and a few others have shown interest.
Camps are obviously the critical next step and Hague is finalizing those plans.
"His potential camps right now, it's not finalized are Virginia, Virginia Tech, Boston College, NC State and one other one," he said. "He's going to do five and we're trying to schedule them every other week."
