Recruiting is growing for QB Cutler

College interest is rising for Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes quarterback Corwin Cutler. The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder had a strong year for the Dolphins and that has colleges moving in.
"My interest is picking up a lot," he said. "Right now Rutgers, Notre Dame, NC State and Wisconsin have been sending letters and Maryland, Connecticut and Ball State have come by the school.

"I am going to the U.S. Army Combine and junior rank combine the first week of January as well."
While no one has pulled the trigger on an offer, Cutler feels he could be close.
"I might be going up to Rutgers on December 17th for a junior. I might get an offer there."
Does he like anybody?
"No, not at all," he said. "I'm just really open right now. I just want to go somewhere I would fit the program. My dad recently told me to just go where you would love it and fit with the coaches and program they are running."
In terms of other visits, Cutler mentioned the possibility of Tennessee, Clemson and Georgia sometime in the not too distant future, but none are set.
This season, Cutler threw for 1,700-yards and 17 touchdowns to just six interceptions.
