Recruiting heating up for Milton

The recruiting process has been heating up for New Orleans (La.) O. Perry Walker safety Anthony Milton. So far the 2014 defensive back has seen interest from LSU, Louisiana-Lafayette, Mississppi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Arizona, Tulane, Alabama, Southern, and Jackson State.
It is still early, but he does have a few trips for junior days and camps in the works.

"I have Arizona, ULL, and I'm going to go to Ole Miss. I only went to the LSU 7-on-7 and combine, but I got invited to something in February," Milton said. "My goal this year is to attend every camp. I want to go worldwide."
Growing up, the 6-2, 175-pound standout spent most of his time on the offensive side of the ball, but he has quickly warmed up to the idea of playing in the defensive backfield.
"Growing up all my life I was a receiver, but my coach at Walker said he saw something different. I didn't like it at first, but I wanted to play. I hate being on the bench and I like winning so I'm going to do what I have to do to make my team win," Milton said. "At first I thought they didn't know what they were talking about but most coaches like me at safety and I'm getting more looks at safety and I'm doing my job at safety so that's where I'm most comfortable. Any day I'll take safety over anything."
As for a leader, Milton admits he has always liked the Oregon Ducks, but when it comes to recruiting he is maintaining an open mind.
