Recruiting Getting Heavy For OL

One of the top offensive linemen in the state of New York is now getting the attention he deserves. Ryan Poles from Canandaigua (N.Y.) Academy is 6-foot-5, 290 pounds and now has offers from Syracuse, Michigan State and Georgia. Other schools such as Penn State, Ohio State, Boston College and Tennessee are starting to notice the mammoth offensive tackle and he can expect many more offers before his senior season starts.
"The recruiting is starting to pick up heavy right now. Schools have been coming in everyday and the offers are starting to come as well. I really don't have a favorite at this time."

Ryan comes from a football family. His dad and uncle both played at Boston College in the early eighties and a second uncle played for Tennessee in the mid eighties. Ryan is big and strong and could easily be a 330-pound lineman in college. He has a huge arm span and moves extremely well for his size. Ryan has allowed only one sack in his three years as a starter. He is a very good athlete and plays center for his high school basketball team.
Perhaps the most amazing thing about Ryan is that he still hasn’t turned 17 years old yet and is still growing rapidly.
