Recruiting continues to rise for Riggins
Tabor City (N.C.) South Columbus athlete Brian Riggins continues to garner interest. The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder is starting to make summer plans and talks favorites.
"I'm going to visit a few schools," he said. "I'm supposed to go to South Carolina and Clemson.

"I have an offer from North Carolina and South Carolina I believe."
Riggins claims the Gamecock offer came recently.
"That's pretty big," he said. "I know they have a good team, but I haven't been there. I'm going to check them out."
With interest developing, does Riggins like anybody?
"I like North Carolina right now and Georgia," he said. "Georgia has been writing me and wants me to come down to their camp. I like the atmosphere at Georgia from what I know and where they are it. They play fast too.
"As for North Carolina, I've always liked them since I was a child."
