Recruiting begins for Massaro
Colleges are beginning to take notice of Newtown Square (Pa.) Marple-Newtown defensive end Pete Massaro. The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder is getting a variety of interest from the ACC, Big East and Big Ten.
"I'm getting a lot of letters, but nothing is too serious yet," he said. "Schools including Virginia, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Connecticut, Temple and Boston College have contacted my school.

"I'm mostly looking for a school with good academics and good football. Location doesn't really matter to me."
Although he's busy with wrestling and baseball, Massaro hopes to participate in some camps this spring.
Last season he registered 52 tackles, 14 for loss and five sacks on his way to first team all-DELCO, second team all-state AP and third team AAA Pennsylvania football news all-state.
