Recruiters know where Garrett is

Defensive back David Garrett had a fine junior season for Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville. He then moved in January and will play his senior season for Painesville (Ohio) Harvey. In the 5-foot-9 and 170-pound Garrett, Harvey has a good one.
Garrett made 48 tackles and had two interceptions during his junior season. He also had six pass breakups.

Recruiters have had no problem finding Garrett at his new school.
"I get mail from Indiana, Nebraska, Toledo, Pitt, Kansas, Georgia Tech, Bowling Green, and some others," Garrett said. "I've got calls from Bowling Green and Pitt, and a lot of them have come to school. Pitt and Akron are two of them that have come to school."
At this point in the recruiting process, Garrett says he is very open minded.
"I'm interested in any school that is interested in me," he said. "I'd probably say Florida State is my favorite school, but I haven't heard from them.
"Indiana, of the ones I've heard from, I'm pretty interested in them."
Though he no longer attends Glenville, Garrett will go with Glenville coach Ted Ginn Sr. as he takes a group of prospects around the country to various college football camps.
