Recruiters flock to see receiver

Rochester, Pa., wide receiver Derek Moye, one of the top wideouts in the Keystone state, is drawing plenty of interest from recruiters and has already landed a number of scholarship offers.
The 6-foot-5 and 180-pound Moye has done it all for his team the past two seasons. Moye has played wide receiver, running back and cornerback in each of the past two campaigns.

Moye caught 24 passes for 536 yards during his junior season. He scored nine times through the air. Moye also rushed for 1131 yards and scored 17 times on the ground. For his work he was named conference offensive player-of-the-year.
Recruiters like Moye's size, athletic ability, and production.
"I have four offers," Moye said. "Pitt, Miami of Ohio, Temple and Akron have offered. I'm looking at all four of them. Right now I'm open to pretty much anywhere."
Plenty of Big Ten schools are on Moye's list.
"Penn State, Notre Dame, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State -- those are some of them," Moye said. "And I like Ohio State a lot.
"I've been junior days at Pitt and Penn State. They were both nice."
Recruiters from most of the colleges Moye mentioned have already been to his school.
"Tom Bradley from Penn State came in last week," Moye said. "Miami of Ohio came in too. Coach Driesbach from Michigan State came out and Joe Daniels from Ohio State. Coach Gibson from West Virginia came out and Cincinnati was here."
Moye has an early list of favorites.
"I'd probably say my top five would be Pitt, Penn State, Ohio State, Iowa, and probably Notre Dame," Moye said.
