Record year has Borgersen on the map

A humongous record setting junior year has seen interest pick up rapidly for 2015 wide receiver Nolan Borgersen out of Washington (N.J.) Westwood. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder has even taken a couple visits this fall.
"I'm getting recruited by Boston College, Rutgers, Northwestern, Duke, Harvard, Yale, East Carolina, SMU, Maryland and Penn State," he said. "I'm getting a lot of interest from Boston College and Rutgers. Boston College was recommending me for a full scholarship when I went to their camp this summer, while Rutgers has close ties with my coach as his brother is a coach there."

No school has offered yet, but Borgersen has taken a couple visits.
"I went to Penn State and it was awesome," he said. "I met with Coach O'Brien and I gave them my film. The whole stadium and atmosphere there was awesome though.
"I also went to Rutgers for the Cincinnati game. I have a great relationship with their coaches. That was really awesome too."
Borgersen is headed to the Harvard-Yale game this week.
Meanwhile, one other school sticks out to the wideout.
"I really love Boston College," he said. "The academic program is awesome and they are a I-A school. It's a good combination of football and academics.
"I would say Rutgers is there too. It's a family and close to home."
On the year, Borgersen has helped his team to a 9-1 record and the state semifinals as he has so far posted 1,622-yards receiving and 23 touchdowns. He is 77-yards and one touchdown short of state records for both touchdowns and yards receiving in a season.
