Receiver to visit Maryland

Tajae Sharpe took his first official visit this weekend and he's already thinking about setting up a second.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound receiver from Piscataway was at Kent State this weekend and the Mid-American Conference school did a good job of rolling out the red carpet and making their case.

"I thought it was very nice," Sharpe said. "I thought the players and coaches there seem really nice. It seems like they're about to turn the program around."
It was Sharpe's first official visit and while it went well he doesn't have anything to compare it to yet.
Akron, Pitt and Temple are the other FBS schools that have offered him over the course of the recruiting process but another school is on his mind right now.
"I haven't set up any visits yet so I'm not really sure what's going to happen right now. Most likely I'm going to try to get out to Maryland, though.
"Maryland is just waiting right now. I think they're supposed to be in touch with my coach pretty soon so we'll see what's going to happen with them."
Sharpe had 11 receiving touchdowns this season for Piscataway.
As a junior last year he has more than 400 yards receiving with four scores and he also showed his potential on the other side of the ball, intercepting four passes.
