Receiver has interest in ASU
Josiah Blandin plans to attend Arizona State's upcoming junior day and he's thoroughly excited because the Sun Devils are one of the favorites for the Long Beach (Calif.) Poly wide receiver.
Not only does Blandin like the atmosphere - he saw Arizona State play Oregon last season - but the 6-foot-4, 185-pound prospect also likes the way the Sun Devils' coaching staff is recruiting him.

Arizona State is definitely high on Blandin's list and could move up even more after he and a few of his teammates - wide receivers Richard Smith and Randall Goforth included - visit there soon.
"They pass the ball a lot and I like that," Blandin said. "I went to their game last year when they played Oregon and I felt right at home. I know the coaching staff, Alden Darby goes there, we grew up together and I felt right at home.
"Everything was cool. It was real hot, that's why I was thinking twice about it, but I felt like I was right in Long Beach but in Arizona."
Arizona State's coaching staff really stands out to Blandin, one of the top wide receivers at Sunday's 1925 All-Stars 7-on-7 tryout. It's an aggressive bunch and Blandin likes that he would be pushed if he went to play for the Sun Devils. Some of his teammates like Arizona State as well.
"They're aggressive," Blandin said of the Sun Devils' coaching staff. "I like that. I like when coaches are aggressive and they show me attention. They're cool at the same time. They're like friends but when you have to go handle business they're on you and that's what I like."
The Sun Devils are definitely one of the favorites for Blandin, who said Washington, Oregon State, UCLA, USC and Nebraska are also showing interest.
