The pipeline from Batesville, Miss., to Oxford continues as Ole Miss picked up a trio of prospects from Batesville (Miss.) South Panola on Monday. Rivals250 athlete Darius Barksdale and two of his high school teammates decided to commit to the Rebels.
Cornerback Bud Barksdale and offensive guard Quin Sanford also pledged to Ole Miss. Tony Hughes was the recruiter of record for all three.

"I've been liking Ole Miss a lot lately," Darius Barksdale said. "I just wanted to do it and get it over with."
Barksdale added that the current South Panola players on the Ole Miss roster, along with his two teammates committing to the Rebels, felt right.
"I am ready to get some good coaching from the staff and hopefully get a couple of championship rings," he said.
Barksdale, who could play running back or in the defensive secondary, does not yet know where he will be playing at Ole Miss.
"I have no idea," he said.
Darius Barksdale is a member of the Rivals250 and the No. 4 overall prospect in Mississippi according to Rivals.com.
Bud Barksdale will be playing corner and was excited about his decision.
"Being around my old teammates and the way Ole Miss plays and stuff was a big reason for my decision," he said. "Me and Darius went and visited today."
Bud also liked the facilities in Oxford.
"I love the facilities there," he said. "That was a big reason that that I decided today. This is my final decision."

Sanford also made the decision to commit to Ole Miss Monday.
"I like the school and I had to do it," he said. "I like the coaches, the facilities and plus there's a lot of my kin folk there."
The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder talked to a variety of Rebels coaches.
"I talked to (head coach) Ed Orgeron, coach Hughes and (offensive line coach) Art Kehoe. I am ready to have some fun playing for coach Kehoe. He really knows his stuff and knows how to get you to the next level."
