Ready closing in on BCS offers

Gibraltar (Mich.) Carlson defensive end Kyle Ready has collected double digit offer totals thus far in his recruitment, with each one coming from a Mid-American Conference school. In fact, Ready needs only offers from Bowling Green and Toledo to complete his MAC offer picture.
The 6-4, 240-pound Ready is also drawing strong interest from several Big Ten programs, however.

"I've been talking to Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan State," Ready said. "I've been sending my film out, so we'll see how that goes."
Of the four Big Ten schools Ready is receiving strong interest from early this fall, one stands out as being the most interested of the group.
"I would say Michigan State," Ready said. "They basically like what I have been doing. I went to their camp and they wanted to see some film on me to see how much better I got from my junior year to my senior year."
Ready took an unofficial visit to Michigan State last month to take in their home contest against Central Michigan. He plans to return to East Lansing on Oct. 15 to see the Spartans battle Michigan.
An unofficial visit to Michigan was also taken this past weekend. Ready is waiting, however, to schedule his official visits until he starts to receive feedback on his mid-season film.
"I haven't officially set up anything yet, but Michigan State I know, Central, Minnesota and I think Western [will receive officials]," Ready said. "They way I look at it, probably towards the end of the regular season I will commit to a school. Hopefully I will have a Big Ten offer then, but if I don't have it by then I will wait a few weeks after football and see how it goes from there."
Ready plays alongside Michigan State offensive tackle commit Kodi Kieler. The two have helped lead Gibraltar Carlson to a 4-2 record this fall and Ready has totaled 38 tackles and eight sacks in those six games.
