RCS Columbus: They said it

DUBLIN, Ohio -- Over 200 athlete competed at RCS Columbus on Saturday, and while our analysts certainly got to know the players better on the field, we also wanted to get to know them off the field as well. From pre-game rituals, favorite NFL players and who the best Twitter follows are, we spoke to a variety of campers and gathered some very interesting answers.

What is the main reason you choose to participate in this camp?
I just want to prove that I am one of the top quarterbacks in the country today and I feel that this is one of the best opportunities to do that. -- Messiah DeWeaver, Quarterback, Trotwood-Madison (Ohio)

Just to show that I can compete with the best players out here. With me being from Kentucky, there is not as much talent down there and I know if I am one of the top prospects here and I can show out. -- Jensen Feggins, Wide Receiver, Fort Thomas (Ky.) Highlands

What's your favorite pre-game ritual when you play?

I just like to listen to relaxing music because it helps me calm my mind and focus on the game. I listen to a lot of Bob Marley before games to be honest. -- Elijah Cunningham, Quarterback, Springboro (Ohio)

When you're not studying or playing football, what do you spend most of your time doing?
I spend time at church and on mission trips and things like that. I am not into video games and things like that. -- Bryce Jenkinson, Linebacker, Greenville, Ohio

I do play video games on the Xbox and I love playing NBA2K14 and beating guys online. -- Doug Bates, Tight End, Cincinnati Moeller

If you had to pick today, what would you major in at college?

What is the No. 1 goal for your football career?

Who is your favorite college football player?
It is Jadeveon Clowney because I like how he plays. He plays fearless and I like his motor and his attitude. -- Malik Leonard, Linebacker, Columbus (Ohio) Africentric

I would say Louis Nix from Notre Dame because he is an interior lineman, a big guy and mobile. He does everything that an interior D-Lineman is supposed to do. -- Brandon Tiassum, Defensive Lineman, Indianapolis Park Tudor School

What football team will win the college football National Championship this year?
I would have to say it will be Florida State again. Jameis Winston is coming back as the Heisman winner and I really think that they have a lot of great players and Jimbo Fisher is doing a great job. -- Devon Davis, Offensive Lineman, Wyoming, Ohio

It is Rob Gronkowski. I am a tight end and he is as well and I just wish I was as big as he is. I watch his blocking techniques. -- Nicholas Potts, Tight End, Hilliard (Ohio) Davidson

I would say that it is Peyton Manning just because he is a perfectionist. Everything that he does is great. He just uses mind over matter. -- Jeff Crabtree, Linebacker, Massillon (Ohio) Washington

What NFL team will win the Super Bowl this year?
I am going to say the Dallas Cowboys because they are the best team in the country. I am not a fan of Jerry Jones, but they are going to pull it together sometime. -- Austin Dorris, Tight End, Shadyside, Ohio

The Pittsburgh Steelers will because they are the best team because they are from Pennsylvania. They are going to make some excellent picks in the draft. -- Bryce Gibson, Defensive Back, Hyattsville (Md.) Archbishop Carroll

The Indianapolis Colts because I am from there. The Indiana Pacers are going to come back, too. The Colts will win because of Andrew Luck. -- Riley Neal, Quarterback, Yorktown, Ind.

The Seattle Seahawks because they have a lot returning and because of Russell Wilson and the way that the defense plays. -- Jake Hendershot, Quarterback, Lizton (Ind.) Tri-West

It is going to be the New Orleans Saints. They are my favorite team. They have a great work ethic and a great quarterback. -- Brayden Underwood, Athlete, Springfield, Ohio
