Khalan Laborn, one of the top running backs in the country, is fresh off a visit to Florida State for its spring game. The recruitment of the Rivals100 prospect seems to be dominated by Florida State and Virginia Tech but schools such as Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida and Ohio State still have a shot with him. Laborn wants to visit all of those schools along with Florida State and Virginia again before he commits on June 3. He says he is closest with coaches from Virginia Tech, Florida State, Tennessee and North Carolina.

WR ORTRE SMITH

South Carolina, Wake Forest, N.C. State, North Carolina, Clemson and Georgia are the schools that have been reaching out to Mt. Pleasant (S.C.) Wando Rivals100 wide receiver OrTre Smith the most. He seems to like the new offense at South Carolina. Smith will visit Columbia soon. He said he feels like he is more of a priority for Clemson, his mother's alma mater. At the end of his school year Smith is planning on releasing a short list and possibly committing during the upcoming season because he is thinking about graduating early.

RB TREY SERMON

Rivals250 running back Trey Sermon recently announced a top six of Oregon, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia and Florida. The Marietta (Ga.) Sprayberry star has a visit set to Oregon on April 26. Sermon plans on visiting all of the schools in his top six this summer. He could commit any time between now and September.

Huntington, W.Va. star Billy Ross has had a meteoric rise and is one of the most coveted offensive linemen in the country. Florida State was on him early and schools like Florida, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and many others quickly followed. Ross visited North Carolina for its spring game and loved it. Florida, Miami, Tennessee, Louisville and Michigan are doing a great job of keeping in contact with him. Florida State, Florida, Miami, Michigan and Tennessee seem like they are Ross' top five schools but he isn't ruling out any programs yet. He will commit before the upcoming season.

OL MEKHI BECTON

Highland Springs, Va. standout Mekhi Becton won the offensive lineman MVP on Sunday and his recruitment has been fun to watch over the past few months. Dozens of schools have offered but Virginia, North Carolina, Michigan State, Maryland and Wake Forest are standing out to him. Becton is planning visits to Michigan State, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Wake Forest. He hopes to narrow his list down to a top ten this summer and commit during the upcoming season.

OL TJ MOORE

Rivals250 offensive lineman TJ Moore is entertaining offers from schools such as North Carolina, N.C. State, South Carolina, Maryland, Clemson and many others. The Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek standout has taken a lot of visits so far, most recently Tennessee, and is working on narrowing down his list. His current top three are South Carolina, Tennessee, and N.C. State. Moore will visit South Carolina on April 29.

WR TAHJ CAPEHART

Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes athlete Tahj Capehart, who is being recruited on both sides of the ball, has recently visited Virginia Tech, Maryland and Alabama. He is looking into visiting South Carolina and Georgia on April 25 and 26 but that isn't locked in yet. Capehart is still a little ways off from a commitment but we could see a short list from in the not too distant future.

Wake Forest, N.C. running back Devon Lawrence is an excellent back with offers from heavy-hitters like Alabama, Clemson, Florida State and a few others. Lawrence, the younger brother of 2016 five-star Clemson signee Dexter Lawrence, went on a lot of visits with his brother and more are on deck for this summer and during the upcoming season. Maryland is his most recent offer and he is planning on graduating early. Expect a commitment some time around the second week in December. North Carolina, Clemson, N.C. State and Georgia Tech are standing out to him right now.

RB JAMAL CURRIE-ELLIOTT (2018)

Big-time 2018 running back Jamal Elliott out of Durham (N.C.) Hillside just visited Tennessee on Saturday and says the Volunteers are his leader. The Volunteers have been doing a good job with him but so have teams such as West Virginia, Duke, East Carolina and a few others.

RB DEVYN FORD (2019)

Another 2019 prospect with double-digit offers is Stafford (N.J.) North Stafford athlete Devyn Ford. Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Kentucky and a few others have already offered him. Offers from South Carolina and Maryland really caught his eye because they surprised him. Ford loved his recent visit to North Carolina. His visits to Virginia Tech and Maryland also went very well.
