What he is doing now: Patrick has spent his true freshman season waiting behind fellow former five-star Dalvin Cook, but with Cook out with an injury Patrick stepped into the starting role for the Seminoles on Saturday vs. Syracuse. The powerful back wasted no time getting to work and finished the game with 167 yards rushing with three touchdowns and also caught six passes for 67 yards.

What we thought then: Patrick was a regular on the Rivals Camp Series, participating in multiple regional events and a pair of Five-Star Challenges. His best showing came at M&T Bank Stadium in 2014, when he was one of the top running backs in attendance. Patrick was praised for his size and speed and also earned honors for his ability to catch the ball, something that was on full display in Saturday's performance.
