RB would commit if Pack offer

Mocksville (N.C.) Davie County tailback James Arnold has his first two offers under his belt, but he is waiting on an in-state favorite to make their intentions known.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound tailback rushed for nearly 2,000 yards as a junior, and 26 touchdowns and is one of many in a stable of strong running backs hailing from the Tar Heel State in 2004.

“Auburn and East Carolina have both offered me, but I’m really waiting to hear from North Carolina State,” explained Arnold. “I’m also hearing from Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, and Maryland, but State is the place for me.”
Arnold possesses excellent field vision and hopes to continue to lower his forty time into the 4.4 range.
What is Arnold looking for in a school?
“I’m looking at a school’s facilities as well as their academic support, but most of all, I want to play for a winning program,” Arnold admitted. “Academics are important just as much as football, but I value playing for a contending program.”
Do the Wolfpack fit the bill for Arnold?
“Without a doubt. I’ve been following them for a while now,” Arnold said. “They’ve got great facilities and the coaching staff is real easy to get along with.”
James plans to camp this summer at Clemson, Tennessee, and North Carolina State.
