"I liked him, he seemed really cool," he said. "He just wanted me to come up to a camp there."
White currently has offers from North Carolina, South Carolina and Arkansas, although he confirms there are no favorites at this time.
Besides many other visits, White received calls from Tennessee and Arkansas.
"Coach Brooks from Tennessee was pretty cool and down to earth. I really enjoyed talking to him," he said. "I talked to the Arkansas coaches for a little while too and they seemed pretty cool."
White went on to talk about the two other schools that have offered him.
"North Carolina is the only one I've been down to visit and I enjoyed the coaches a lot there," he said. "I haven't even talked to coach Spurrier at South Carolina yet, but I'd be pretty happy to meet him and I think they're headed in the right direction."
The running back prospect is still hoping to hear from Wake Forest, Virginia, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Georgia.
"I just want to see more of how their program is run, but I like what I know so far."
As for a decision from White, it appears it'll be later than sooner.
"I'm probably going to do it around Signing Day," he said. "I just want to be able to get to know the schools and take a lot more time."
White is currently working to prepare himself for next season.
"I'm working on my speed, power and change of direction ability," he said. "I'm preparing to win state."
White ran for 2,200 yards and 39 touchdowns as a junior.
