RB waiting for more

Travis Small is a running back prospect from Cheraw (S.C.) High School. Small, 5-10 and 185 pounds, has put up some impressive numbers in three years on the high school gridiron, rushing for over 4,200 yards in his prep career. Last season he rushed for 1,970 yards and 32 scores. Thus far he has one scholarship offer and that's from the Duke Blue Devils.
"I like the new coaches at Duke," Small said. "They are going to turn things around there and they have great academics. I am going to see them in the next week or so. I haven't had a chance to talk with coach (David) Cutcliffe yet but hopefully we can get together when I go up there."

Small has camped at East Carolina and South Carolina so far this summer and also visited Coastal Carolina. He has liked what he has seen at ECU and South Carolina.
"ECU was good and I liked the facilities. The coaching staff is cool and I like the running back coach. There was lots of competition at that camp.
"South Carolina was good too. I liked working with those coaches. Coach (Robert) Gillespie is a cool coach. He really pushes you to give it all you got."
Small claims no leaders and he wants to see what happens over the coming weeks.
"I think Middle Tennessee State and ECU are pretty close to offering me. Right now I just want to see how things go. I think I will be attending some more camps but I am just not sure which ones yet."
