RB visiting three up in the northeast

James C. White is a very talented prospect on one of the most talented teams in the nation in Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He's a vital cog in their offensive machine. Last season as a junior he rushed the ball 125 times for 933 yards and caught 17 passes for 184 yards totaling 21 touchdowns. He teams up with fellow running back Giovanni Bernard, making them one of the best one-two punches in the nation.
"It's so good having someone else back there," White said. "He makes me work and we push each other. I know if I don't have my 'A' game he can pick me up and if he doesn't have his 'A' game I pick him up."

According to White he currently has 14 scholarship offers. The first team to offer was Clemson and it sounds like the Tigers have a good shot at landing him.
"I went to their camp last summer and I wanted to show them what I have. I did well and they offered. Clemson was one of my favorites growing up. I just love how they use their running backs. I like how they use James Davis and C.J. Spiller.
"But right now I don't have any leaders and I am open to everyone."
Other schools that have offered White are Boston College, Rutgers, Iowa, Michigan State, N.C. State, USF, Tulane, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Minnesota, Purdue, Louisville, and Indiana. Three of the teams on his offer list he will visit, starting tomorrow.
"I am going up to BC, Syracuse and Rutgers tomorrow. I am going with my parents and we are going to visit the Big East schools. I am looking for a good education, a family atmosphere, I want to have a good time and want to play early."
White has already taken unofficial visits to Clemson, Iowa, Wisconsin and South Florida.
