RB Thomas ready to commit

After taking his fifth official visit this past weekend, it’s decision time for Washington, Pa. running back Travis Thomas. So when will the 6-foot-1, 200-pounder make his choice known?
“I had a good visit to BC, the players are really tight there and everyone gets along well,” said Thomas. “They have a wide open situation at running back and the academics are top notch as well. I also liked the city there and the campus. It was a good trip and BC will be in it.”

Thomas eliminated Northwestern after his official visit there a few weekends ago. Now it looks like a three-team race with Notre Dame, Pitt and Boston College all in the mix.
“I know I didn’t visit Pitt officially, but I feel like I know them very well,” he said. “BC showed a lot to me this weekend and Notre Dame is Notre Dame. You don’t need to say much more about them.”
Thomas rushed for more than 1,200 yards this season and 18 touchdowns this past season. His decision is coming soon.
“This week or next week,” he said. “I need to sit down and talk things over with my family. I have an idea who I like the best obviously, but I need to think on it some more.”
