RB Smith wants to visit four

J.J. Smith, Brooklyn (Miss.) Forrest County Agricultural High’s star running back, wants to set up his official visits, and he knows where he wants to take them.
“I want to visit Ole Miss, Auburn, West Virginia and Marshall,” Smith said. “I’m going to write Auburn and send them my latest highlight tape to see if they’re still interested, because I haven’t heard from them in a long time. But I’m looking for a program that’s nationally known, so any schools that want to give me an offer and where I have a chance to play have a shot at me.”

Smith has impressed on the field, and turned heads in his most recent performance: he ran for 250 yards and five touchdowns last Friday.
“I had a pretty good season,” he said. “I have more touchdowns and yards-per-carry than I did last year, and I had a really big game last Friday, so that’s good. But I was disappointed we missed the playoffs.”
Having already taken an unofficial visit to Ole Miss, to watch the Ole Miss-Auburn game, Smith now has a basis on which to compare future trips to schools. He hopes that he soon will have scholarships to compare as well.
