Arizona State is the latest offer for Kurt Scoby and the three-star running back from Monrovia, Calif., is taking it seriously.
Very seriously.

Scoby, a 5-foot-8, 176-pound recruit who's packed with muscle, plans to visit with the Sun Devils in the next two weeks and if things go well he said a commitment is being seriously considered.
"They did offer," Scoby said.
"They told me they were trying to get in contact with me for the longest time and it's great they got in contact with me. They want me to come on campus in the next two weeks and then we'll see how things go. I'm headed out there in a couple weeks. I'm really interested in Arizona State.
"It will happen (a commitment) if I like it. If I like it, it's going to happen because I'm trying to stay close to home."
The Sun Devils have seriously jumped up the board for Scoby, who has transferred schools a few times during his high school career. But he's now settled at Monrovia and is excited to get his senior season underway.
Scoby said a lot of coaches - mainly from Pac-12 schools like Utah, Washington, USC and UCLA - said they want to see how he plays early in his senior year and then decide on an offer.
However, it might be too late if Scoby is blown away during his ASU trip.
"It's pretty much the same schools," Scoby said. "More should be coming in as soon as the season starts. They want to see that I'm settled and I'm doing well."
