RB says hes earned AM offer

Things are going about as good as they can get for Keller, Texas, all-purpose back Hugh Charles. With a perfect 3-0 record and offers from big-time programs like Colorado, Kansas State, Arizona, Houston and Kansas, Charles thought things couldn’t get any better. But they did three days ago.
“I finally got the official offer from A&M three days ago,” Charles, who is a 5-foot-7, 182-pound all-purpose back, said. “Coach (Chris) Thurmond and I have been talking about every other week and knew that the offer was going to come sooner or later. He was talking to me about how I fit in with their plans at running back.

“Then three days ago, I got the official offer letter from coach Franchione.”
Charles said the A&M offer does change things up quite a bit. He had been a Colorado lean after an official visit to Boulder back on September 5. But now he’s not so sure what he’s going to do.
“It does shake things up a little bit,” he said. “I still like Kansas State and Colorado a lot, but A&M is a good program. I can still see myself staying in state or going out of state. I’m going to take my visits and see what happens.”
So far Charles has not lined up any other trips.
Charles, ranked as the No. 59 player in the state of Texas, did have 68 yards rushing on 18 carries last week in a big victory over Flower Mound.
