RB ready for more

Even though Temple is the only school to have offered Ray Lawry, the running back from Woolwich (N.J.) Kingsway Regional is optimistic more schools with pull the trigger.
"I'm in contact with Rutgers and Maryland," said the 5-foot-11, 180-pound Lawry. "I like that Rutgers is close to home that way my whole family can come watch me. I have really good relationship with all the coaches too.

"Maryland is a team on the rise," he said. "They're going to be big-time and a couple of years. I like the move to the Big Ten also. I like that both Rutgers and Maryland are going to the Big Ten because it means more exposure."
Two other national powerhouse programs just started to contact Lawry.
"I just got a few letters from Michigan and I've been talking to Ohio State on Facebook," said Lawry.
Lawry has already taken a few visits and knows what he is looking for.
"I visited Penn State, Rutgers and Temple," he said. "I really like the fan base at Penn State. The stands were packed and the atmosphere was great. I haven't planned any visits yet but I might be doing junior days at Rutgers, Temple and Maryland. I'm also going to try to get to Ohio State in June.
"I want a good education first," said Lawry. "I want to major in sports medicine. I also want a good relationship with all the coaches. Success of the team is also pretty important to me."
Lawry wants to go to a few camps this offseason.
Last season, Lawry led Kingsway Regional to an 8-4 record.
