RB Martin takes a break from recruiting

Galloway (N.J.) Absegami running back Ben Martin has been taking it easy on the recruiting trail. What's the latest with the 5-foot-10, 190-pounder?
"It's the same old, same old," he said. "I'm waiting for more offers as I'm taking summer classes. I'm just making sure everything is clear."

Martin is sitting on offers from Marshall and Rutgers.
"I talked to Rutgers last night and they just wanted to know how everything was going with summer school," he said. "As for Marshall, I have to call them in the next week or so to talk to their coach."
Martin claims due to summer classes he doesn't plan to hit any other visits before the season starts.
"I probably won't have the opportunity to take visits this summer, but I want to wait and take officials during the season."
Martin is waiting to see what other schools will do.
"The only other schools sending me stuff are West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Temple," he said. "They all think I'm the kind of player that fits their mold. Most of them are saying they want to see my first three games this fall before they make a decision on something."
Do any schools stick out for the two-star prospect?
"I haven't really thought about it, but I like Rutgers, I like all the schools sending me stuff."
Practice is heating up for the No. 25 prospect in the Garden State and Martin is looking to make a big impact in his final year.
"This is my last year of high school football and I want to end it with a ring," he said. "I've improved a lot, I'm more patient to the hole and once I see it I explode through it. I expect for me and my team to have a good year."
