RB Johnson Returns From Miami

Miami visits can sometimes change things very quickly. Such is the case of Newport News (Va.) Heritage superstar Michael Johnson.
“It was off the hook,” said the 5-foot-10, 180-pound running back of his Miami visit this weekend. “It was just awesome. I liked everything about it.”

So Johnson, who has already visited Michigan State and has not named a leader for months, now has a leader.
“I guess you could say they’re my leader now,” he said. “I can see myself playing there. It was amazing.”
Johnson still plans on taking his official visit to Virginia on Jan. 18, but isn’t sure about others.
“I’m tired of all this flying,” he said. “Michigan State was the worst because it was such a long flight, but Miami was pretty bad too. It’s a pain.”
Will that favor Virginia?
“It might,” he said with a laugh. “Or maybe I’ll just drive back and forth from Miami.”
Johnson also said that his buddy, Marcus Vick, also had a great time.
“We both loved it,” he said. “It was a great time.”
